Tapeworms
 

Cause

Tapeworms are commonly spread when an animal eats fleas which harbor tapeworm larvae. 

Signs

bullet Round or flat small white worms that look like moving pieces of rice, around the anus or in the stool.  These are segments of the the tapeworm body.

First Aid

 1.    Deworming medication administered by a veterinarian. 

 2.    Flea control.
